HOW NOT TO OBEY IN ADVANCE, (pt.1)

    I need a list of how not to obey in advance. I have not come across such a thing, so I'm creating my own.  I'm just shouting in a wilderness of other voices hoping to  oh gad, I'm full of clichés.      The list begins now. What I know from spending too much time on YouTube: from @BrianTylerCohen to @OccupyDemocrats, and including of course @MeidasTouch and others. The End

 Some stories start at the end. This is an example of that paradigm.  The end of a country. The end of quality of life. The end of "truth will out," or sane politicians, vaccines, and medical care. Etc. I am not alone in a fear of the future that death pales against. I personally write from an apartment. It has heat in the winter, A/C in summer, electricity and water, plus an indoor loo. But for how long? I think it's time for a nap. My lesson from yesterday didn't last the dawn of this day. Back at it tomorrow.

Back At It

The days, the days they pass. God, how they pass. I think of Dr. Viktor Frankel's words about coping in a world far from making rational sense. In Man's Search For Meaning, he advises to find joy and meaning wherever you can. I add to exploit the crap out of those two concepts. I choose to sing out loud while walking, or dancing (more like rhythmic swaying), while waiting to cross the street. I really don't care anymore, I'm focusing on what brings me joy; music, reading, gardening, and sometimes painting. I'm at an age where my inhibitions have decreased to quite a point. I'm not walking around naked or anything, just dancing at the stoplight. Come join me, as we all dance to the tune of time.
