HOW NOT TO OBEY IN ADVANCE, (pt.1)

I need a list of how not to obey in advance. I have not come across such a thing, so I'm creating my own.  I'm just shouting in a wilderness of other voices hoping to  oh gad, I'm full of clichés.

The list begins now. What I know from spending too much time on YouTube: from @BrianTylerCohen to @OccupyDemocrats, and including of course @MeidasTouch and others. I give a shout-out to @AOC giving a 90 minute talk on how to NOT obey in advance link: (https://youtu.be/CVgNJf6CsBA?si=e91AHU1qprgwzuDc).

Contact your local Democracy Action Network for boots on the ground steps to take regarding community engagement.

Here's my list so far. It will develope as ideas develope, like film, yea?

1.    WRITE, WRITE,  and WRITE!
Write your Congressperson and Senators. You can find your representatives at this dot gov site: USA.gov
Enter your zip code and Voila! The list gives addresses and phone numbers, including websites. The best thing about this site is it tells you who everyone is all the way down to federal, state and local officials.
I have found it's easiest to go to the politician's website and hit the CONTACT ME section, you can't miss it. Fill out the form and voice your concerns.

2.    PHONE FLOODS
That was indulgent of me, I like the way phone floods sounds, but hey if you've got some time and want to stay on the couch, make your voice heard with phoning the murky White House. Reach Senate and Representatives at this number (Thanks, Bernie):  (202) 224-2131 ask for whom (yea, I'm pretty sure that's correct usage) you what to comment to and you're in. Leave your message. Done!

3.     DEMOCRACY ACTION NETWORK
Sign up for weekly phone meetings and emails full of info on the upcoming demonstrations in your or nearby area.
I attended my first demonstration on Not My President's Day at my town's City Hall. There were some great signs ("I can smell DOGE shit"), and we all screamed with passing honking cars, (support). It was kind of a blast, ya know if the topic wasn't so fucking serious. So, I'm going to collect more info for next post.

4.      KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
